About
Steve Kusmer loves technology, design, startups, and his family, but not in that order.
Throughout his career, Steve has worked with some of the greatest technology people in the world, in companies from Hewlett-Packard to Macromedia to his own startup, Atomz. He has served customers ranging from Allstate to Bloomingdale’s to Disney to Verizon Wireless, and has led teams creating products ranging from a word processor for handwriting to a site search engine capable handling 400 searches per second for CBSNews.com. He is an author of eight patents, a co-founder or early employee of three companies, and was named an entrepreneur of the year in 2006 by New Enterprise Associates.
But he is still made weak-in-the-knees by an beautiful Web site design, a slick user interface, an elegant software architecture, a killer product, or a couple of people in a garage trying to make a go of it.
This Web site provides a voice for this introvert to do his extrovert stuff.
